Sebit Albert Augustino Baros known by his stage name Saab Jay Strategy is a South Sudanese reggae musician based in Kampala, Uganda.

Saab Jay was born on August 31st 1986 and began his career in 2005 as a refugee in Koboko (Uganda) with a group create called the 4 Young Boyz (4YBZ), later known as Rhymerz. Rhymer was formed in 2006 and was comprised of Saab Jay, Kawaja and McLean Jaco. Saab Jaay and Kawaja continued onwards, producing songs and introducing reggae dancehall to South Sudan. Saab Jay lost his father at 7, but with his mother’s help and music in Imvepi refugee settlement, he was able to study. Saab Jay Strategy lived in the camp between 1993 and 2003, but studied in Koboko, in North-Western Uganda. 

In 2010, Saab Jay strategy participated in the referendum campaigns organized by NGOs around South Sudan. Rhymerz produced a 6-songs album sensitizing people about the importance of being free. In May 2011 Saab Jay Strategy released his first solo song "Araba doniya" which became a big hit in South Sudan and made him an icon country wide. It was his introduction as a solo artist in South Sudan.

From there on Saab Jay Strategy kept working hard, producing more songs and dedicating his work to charity work. Saab Jay Strategy produced songs about HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, adult education, domestic violence, peace and love and more. Saab Jay Strategy wants to see his music bring change to his people not suffering, he wants to see children going to school, living healthy in peace and love. 

Saab Jay Strategy worked with different music producers in South Sudan (Jehu), Uganda (Washington, Eddy of Goodenuff Records, Benon of Swangz Avenue) and Kenya (Rkay). He also collaborated with many musicians such as; Vampino, Ngoni, Bigtime and Rabadaba from Uganda, Cannibal and Camillah from Kenya, and Jah Agree from Colorado, USA.
